Man Builds Ark In Preparation For December 21st 2012 Rumoured Apocalypse

This photo taken on Nov. 24 shows the unfinished boat built by Lu Zhenhai In preparation for the foretold  Mayan apocalypse slated to strike on Dec. 21, a man in China Lu Zhenghai has reportedly spent his life savings on the construction of his very own “Noah’s Ark.” Worried about the impending 2012 “Mayan apocalypse, Lu began building his so-called ark in 2010 out of fear that an impending “doomsday” flood would threaten his and his family’s survival. “I’m afraid that when the end of the world comes in 2012, flood waters will destroy my house,” Lu told the Chinese News Service. “So I took all my savings, about $160,500 (N24m), and invested in the construction of this boat,” he continued. “When the time comes, everyone can take refuge in it.” Lu's "ark" was built with 10 tons of timber and 60 tons of steel. Due to lack of funds, however, it has yet to be completed. Scientist, and Mayan experts have tried to persuade people that the Mayan prediction is just the end of a calender, and should in  no way interpreted as the end of the world. Apparently, people like Lu aren't convinced, lol.

#ShesSoNotOverHim: Serena Williams disses Common’s new girlfriend, calls her a ‘boy’

Although she is rumored to be dating her coach and was spotted looking at homes with him in Europe, Serena Williams may still be in love with her ex-boyfriend Common. speculates she took to her Twitter page to diss Common’s new girlfriend — referring to her as “boy” and calling her pathetic. Here’s what the tennis champion tweeted: “Dear ‘boy’ that reads my tweets and tells ‘The Bread’ everything I say. You are pathetic! And what is more I can’t stand you. Get a life! Or blow up” She continued: “@common your friend really need to get a life. They already ruined mine. Can they just blow away already?” “The Bread” is a reference to Common being the breadwinner in the relationship. Perhaps Serena is wishing she could rekindle things with her ex. The two were reportedly together for two years. In Common’s memoir, he often spoke of marrying Serena and even said he was willing to change his religion to to suit Serena’s — who is a Jehovah’s Witness. According to an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Serena claimed the two parted ways because of a busy schedule. “His schedule is actually worse than mine. He didn’t want the responsibility. It’s really tough,” she said. Do you think Serena is not over Common? - Naturally Moi

Nigeria’s Olympic basketball team member, Chinedu Onyeuku, shot dead in Texas

Chinedu Onyeuku A former Nigerian national basketball player was shot dead in a botched burglary in Texas before Thanksgiving, it has been revealed. According to the Dallas News, Chinedu Onyeuku and another person allegedly tried to break into a residence on Rio Grande Street in Plano, Texas the night of November 21. The homeowner told Plano police that he saw ‘multiple people’ approaching the house. Onyeuku had played for the Nigerian team that qualified for this summer’s Olympic Games in London. The two apparently entered the residence by breaking a glass patio door. The homeowner shot Onyeuku, killing him instantly. His accomplice ran away without injury. Police are still trying to track the second burglar. No one inside the home was injured in the burglary. Upon their arrival, EMT workers pronounced him dead at the scene. It is unclear why Onyeuku and his companion were trying to burglarize the residence. The Nigeria Basketball Federation posted a statement saying that the 29-year-old athlete played basketball for the team that qualified for the London 2012 Olympics. However, Onyeuku was not on the Olympic roster and did not actually compete. The statement reads: ‘[His] passion for playing with D’Tigers was deep-seated and he will be greatly missed. The federation joins his family and team mates to mourn a departed son, father, husband and great patriot.’ According to online sports records, Onyeuku was born in the Nigerian capital of Lagos in 1983. He moved to the United States at age six. He played college basketball at Illinois State University and then went semi-pro for awhile, playing for the Arlington Bulldogs, in the American Basketball Association. In 2009, he was invited to play for the D’Tigers, a national squad in Nigeria. It also said that Onyeuku lived in Omaha, Nebraska. - Information Nigeria

Melissa Lee Williams of West Virginia is facing assault and weapons charges after she showed up at her estranged husband’s door with a knife and demanded of him and another man: “Eat my coochie.” Melissa Lee “commenced to undress herself,” according to the police report, obtained by The Smoking Gun. Danny Williams “declined said invitation,” but the other man, Adam Watson, told cops that he “agreed to perform at her request.” Um. Here’s what happened next: However, as Watson approached Williams, “he became overwhelmed by horrible vaginal odor emitting from Melissa Williams.” Watson, understandably, “declined to proceed any further.” This is when Melissa Williams allegedly “produced a lock-back folding knife,” opened it, and pointed the weapon at her estranged husband. She then reportedly uttered a line never before memorialized in a police report: “Somebody is going to eat my p*ssy or I’m going to cut your fu*king throat.” Surely you will find this shocking, but when the deputy arrived on the scene, all three of these people appeared to be intoxicated, and Melissa was naked from the waist down. *konji is sure a very bad thing.. What else will cause the woman to act so, and the men too, they shouldn’t be called men, 2 men for that matter and 1 woman help them on hostage? Lol, what will you do if you were in there shoes?

Aba is really getting on the news lately for weird happenings Two prophetesses have been arrested by the police in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State for stealing and selling day-old baby girl, the child of one Grace, 23, from Abiriba in Ohafia Local Government Area of the state. The arrested prophetesses, Loreta Emmanuel and Sylva were from Owerri Imo State. Daily Sun gathered that a man, Grace said was her boyfriend, got her impregnated, promising to marry her. However, Grace, who dropped out of secondary school due to her father’s ill-health, was disappointed when her boyfriend reneged on his promise and she became confused. As she had nobody to help see her through the pregnancy, she contemplated dragging the man to the welfare department in Aba so that he could be compelled to take care of her until she put to bed. Grace was said to have intimated Loreta, a mother of seven who lived in the same area with her of her plans. But Loreta advised her to the contrary and instead told Grace that she would take her to a prayer ministry where, with prayers, her boyfriend would have a change of mind. The girl bought into the idea and in August last year, Loreta took her to one prayer house at Umuocho village, Osusuamaukwa in Obingwa Local Government Area of the state, owned by Prophetess Sylva. Grace stayed in the prayer house for months without her prayers being answered and without also being allowed by the women to go home. They were deceiving her with false prophecy that God revealed to them that she would die if she decided to go home and give birth outside the ministry. Grace out of fear that she might die decided to stay with them. When it was about time for Grace to deliver, Sylva took her to their home and introduced her to one Apostolic Church in Ekeakpara in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area where she attended occasionally. Grace was delivered of a baby girl on January 2 at the Apostolic Church and hours later she was brought back to Sylva’s house together with the baby. But the unexpected happened the following day when Grace went to take her birth. Before then, another woman, who was later identified as Ijeoma, a nurse, had visited them. Grace told Daily Sun that as she came out of the bathroom, she saw the two prophetesses and the nurse carrying the baby and were about moving into a waiting car and when she enquired where they were taking her child to, they told her that the baby was very sick and wanted to take her to where she would be treated. “I wanted to go with them but Loreta said I should stay behind and have some rest since it had not been long I put to bed. When I insisted, she said she had seven children and that she would not do anything bad to me, saying I was like a child to her. With these words and being somebody I knew, I stayed back.” After a while, according to Grace, who wanted the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and other Related Matters (NAPTIP) to come into the matter since she had no one to stand for her, “Loreta and Sylva came back to the house without the baby and when I asked them about the child, they told me that the sickness became worse and she died. “As I did not believe their story, I demanded for the corpse, but they kept telling me cock and bull story and after putting much pressure on them they admitted that the baby was somewhere, saying I should pay them N1.5 million which they claimed was the amount they spent in taking care of me all the while I was pregnant. “I told them if that was the case, they should bring back the baby I suffered so much to have and after a while, that I will rally round and get some money to pay them. But they said I was joking and threatened to deal with me if I ask them about the baby again because they knew I had nobody that could come for me.” The matter was reported to the police then and the two women became evasive. They could not be arrested as both of them parked out from their houses and relocated their ministries. While Loreta parked out from her No. 42 Amos Street to Okohia Street and relocated her ministry to Umuode in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government where she was arrested, Sylva on her own parked out from Ekeakpara and relocated her ministry to Abala in Obingwa Local Government. However, luck ran out on the two women when following a fresh complaint by Grace, the police in Aba, led by one Rotimi with other security agencies, arrested the two prophetesses who confessed to the crime. They were said to have admitted selling the baby to a lady in Port Harcourt, Rivers State with the help of Ijeoma, the nurse who was still at large, for N300, 000. While a senior police officer said the suspects would be transferred to the SCID, Umuahia, Grace was worried that transferring the case to Umuahia would create a problem for her and probably make the women go scot free since she said she did not have the money to be attending the matter at the state capital. She urged NAPTIP to intervene immediately and work with the police to help her recover her baby. Sun Ng

I Am Not A Lesbian – Nollywood actress Susan Peters

Nollywood actress in an interview with Silverbird Television debunked rumours that she’s lesbian. People tend to think I’m lesbian because most of my friends are female and I’m always around them she said.

Pandemonium broke out in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State at the weekend when a man set his wife ablaze for complaining to her sister-in-law on phone about the husband’s alleged maltreatment . The suspect later reported himself to the police. The man, whose name was given as Ndubuisi Okafor, a trailer driver, who hails from Amawbia, Awka in Anambra State, had allegedly been having quarrels with the wife for sometime now. Okafor, who owns two trailers, was reported to have severally accused her wife of being too religious which he claimed, prevented him from making good money. He was alleged to have even destroyed the wife’s Bible. A source revealed that two days to the incident, the woman, Chinyere, 40, who hailed from Obingwu Asa in Ukwa West Local Government of Abia State, had complained to the husband that she was sick and needed initially money to buy some drugs, which the husband refused. This prompted Chinyere to call her sister-in-law on phone to complain about it and other related issues which did not go down well with the man. Okafor, according to the source, later gave the wife money for the drugs and travelled to Port Harcourt. When Okafor came back from his journey the following day he met his wife cooking and went inside the kitchen to confront her over the phone call to his sister. The man did not accept his wife’s explanations. He allegedly pounced on his wife, who had three boys for him and attacked her. After beating the wife to stupor, Okafor allegedly forced her to drink some litres of fuel, poured some on her body before dumping his wife, into a big rubber container before setting her ablaze. Neighbours who were attracted to the apartment by the woman’s cry for help broke into their flat, put out the fire before rushing the lady to hospital. The first hospital she was taken to rejected her due to the high degree of burns she sustained. But it was at the Living Word Mission Hospital where she was admitted and given first aid treatment and referred to UNTH, Enugu. It was on their way to UNTH at Osisioma, about two kilometres from the hospital, the woman died. Four hospitals allegedly rejected the body being deposited at their mortuary because it was badly damaged. When Okafor learnt the wife had died, he reported himself to the Timber Police Station where he reportedly told the police it was his wife that set herself ablaze. Relations of the deceased are alleging that the man killed their sister for rituals. According to the woman’s elder sister, Nkechinyere Nwogu, “before the incident, Okafor had severally told my sister he needed money at all costs and that the wife had been the stumbling block, and he even destroyed her Bible. “Presently, we the family members don’t know where the body of my sister is because four hospitals rejected her body to be deposited in their mortuary due to its very bad state.” When our correspondent visited 45 Azubuike Street by Uratta /Express junction residence of the couple, the building was deserted by their neighbours over fear of massive arrest by the police. As at Press time, the suspect was still being detained at the Timber Police Station. Sun Newspaper

Ludovic Mohammed Zahed is braced for controversy, maybe even worse. A gay Muslim and an expert on the Koran, Zahed plans to open Europe’s first gay-friendly mosque in Paris at the end of this month. He calls it a place of shelter as well as a place of worship. “We need to have a safe space for people who do not feel comfortable and at ease in normal mosques,” Zahed told ABC News. “There are transgender people who fear aggression, women who do not want to wear head scarf or sit in the back of the mosque. This project gives hope back to many believers in my community.” “Common prayer, practiced in an egalitarian setting and without any form of gender-based discrimination, is one of the pillars supporting the proposed reforms of our progressive representation of Islam,” he said. “The Unity” mosque will initially operate in a Buddhist temple in a neighborhood in eastern Paris, and will emphasize “accepting everyone as equally God’s creation….I hope straight men will pray together with gay men and women, everyone,” said Zahed who declines to make public the address of the venue, due to security concerns. Zahed’s mosque will honor some Islamic traditions, like Friday prayers (Jumu’ah), and the Muslim marriage contract (Nikah) to bless same-sex marriage. It will also perform funeral rites (Janazah) for those who have been denied a traditional Islamic funeral based on Sharia law because of their sexual orientation. “It is a safe place to worship,” said Zahed, where no religious questions will go unaddressed. “Our imams will talk on any taboo topic.” Zahed will be one of three prayer leaders, along with a female French convert to Islam and another man who is being trained. “Current Islamic ethics may condemn this sexual orientation,” Zahed said, “but in fact nothing in Islam or the Koran forbids homosexuality. Indeed, for centuries, Muslims did not consider homosexuality to be the supreme abomination that they do today.” According to Zahed, renowned Muslim poets wrote odes glorifying handsome boys. Some were interpreted as metaphors for loving God, but some also seem to reference gay intimate relations. Zahed argues that homosexuality became criminalized only under European colonialism. “From the 10th to the 14th century, Muslim society used to be a far richer mix of the legal, the rational and the mystic,” said Zahed. “They looked at sexuality as one aspect of life’s many possibilities, and they saw in it the hope for spiritual insight.” “Even if this mosque is newfound freedom,” said Nasser, an openly-gay Parisian, “gays will remain in a closet, worried about being ostracized at their local schwarma stand.” While it would be the first gay mosque in Paris, there are believed to be 21 other gay mosques sprinkled through the U.S., Canada and South Africa. In countries where traditional Islam is dominant, like Egypt and Iran, punishment against homosexual activity, not to mention advocacy for gay rights, is very severe. Zahed’s Parisian mosque will be inspired by the work of Muslims for Progressive Values in North America, who practice common prayer, in an egalitarian setting and without any form of gender-based discrimination. “We are already working very closely with them. The idea for our Paris mosque comes as a result of our conversations,” says Zahed, whose future plans include “a progressive mosque in the UK and then another one in Denmark will follow.” Zahed believes, if the Prophet Mohamad was alive today, he would marry gay couples. He himself is the first gay man to marry partner in a Muslim ceremony in France. He is an Algerian PhD student writing his thesis on Islam and homosexuality, a subject he also addressed in a book “The Koran and the Flesh.” He has experienced anti-gay discrimination from Islamic groups, and Islamophobia from members of the French gay community. Meanwhile there is a lot of controversy in France regarding both same-sex marriages and Islamic influence and practices. Ten days ago, tens of thousands protesters took to the streets against government’s plan to legalize same-sex marriage, while several weeks ago, right wing protesters stormed an unfinished mosque to show disapproval of France’s large community of Muslim immigrants. Don’t fall for the latest ridiculous Facebook hoax

Users who’ve logged onto Facebook in the last 24 hours may have seen friends posting a message about “New Facebook Guidelines.” The message urges others to copy and paste the post, lest the company use their content for commercial use without their permission. But users shouldn’t be so quick to post the message to their own Facebook walls: Experts say the chain letter is just another hoax. The post in question reads: In response to the new Facebook guidelines I hereby declare that my copyright is attached to all of my personal details, illustrations, comics, paintings, professional photos and videos, etc. (as a result of the Berner Convention). For commercial use of the above my written consent is needed at all times! The message continues on to say that users can copy and paste the text and post it to their wall, which “will place them under protection of copyright laws.” “If you do not publish a statement at least once,” the text warns, “you will be tacitly allowing the use of elements such as your photos as well as the information contained in your profile status updates.” But experts say not to bother posting the message at all. “It is my understanding that the text has no legal meaning at all,” Chester Wisniewski, a senior security expert at Sophos who has written about this chain letter in the past, told The Huffington Post. “Your photos are your photos — you haven’t given up your copyright,” Wisniewski said. “But by posting it to Facebook, you have given them the right to share it given their sometimes confusing privacy settings.” Facebook echoed this in a statement _ “As outlined in our terms, the people who use Facebook own all of the content and information they post on Facebook, and they can control how it is shared through their privacy and application settings,” Andrew Noyes, a Facebook spokesman, wrote in an email. “Under our terms, you grant Facebook permission to use, distribute, and share the things you post, subject to the terms and applicable privacy settings.” Similar messages have gone viral in the past and have become so common that Facebook actually posted a message to its wall in June saying they weren’t true. Snopes, a fact-checking site that debunks online rumors, called it “false” in June. Wisniewski said he thinks that people are so quick to post messages like these because there’s an underlying distrust of Facebook among many of its users. “I think the resurgence of why these things seem to come back every three to six months is because there’s a bit of paranoia,” he said. “People don’t trust that Facebook is doing what’s in their best interests.” Wisniewski cited previous controversial privacy policy changes, like the one that caused an uproar in 2009 by making a user’s photo, list of friends and other personal information publicly available via Internet search engines. Memories of last year’s introduction of Timeline, which caused many headaches and embarrassment for some users when it unearthed posts that were years old (think college), likely also keep Facebook users on their toes. “Facebook has a bad reputation regarding privacy with its users, and anytime something surfaces that’s related to users’ privacy settings, the rumors have spread like a wildfire,” Wisniewski said. This latest rumor could have been reignited by the news last week that Facebook may stop of allowing users to vote on privacy policy changes. Facebook on Monday issued a short press release “fact-checking” the rumor and calling it false. _Huffpost

Chris Brown Responds To Twitter Insults, Deletes Twitter Account

Following a twitter row with 30-year-old TV star and comedienne, Chris Brown deleted his Twitter account after  the former challenged him over his 2009 assault of the singer Rihanna. Before the deletion, the R & B singer appeared to confirm reports that he is once more dating the Barbadian singer, tweeting: "Just ask Rihanna if she mad??????"
Jenny Johnson, who has nearly 300,000 Twitter followers, then replied saying: "Get some help".   At that point, Chris didn't respond, but then he twitted: "I look old as f***! I'm only 23..."
The comedienne then challenged the singer again by telling him: "Being a worthless piece of s*** can really age a person." This prompted Chris to respond to Jenny vilification. He said: "Take them teeth out when u Sucking my d*** HOE." An unrepentant Jenny Johnston sarcastically corrected Brown's spelling, saying: "It's "HO" not "HOE" you ignorant f***.' Chris then lost his temper and told her: "mom says hello... She told me not to s**** in ur mouth, wanted me to s*** right on the retina." And: "I should fart while ur giving me top." Jenny, who lives with her husband in Texas, replied: "Your mom must be so proud of you." She then ended her side of the conversation, explaining: "Okay. I'm done. All I got from that exchange with Chris Brown is that he wants to s*** and fart on me." And added: "I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing." Chris Brown on the other hand closed off the Tirade saying: "Back to life... To teambreezy... Know that I'm not upset. Just felt like entertaining the ignorance. These bitches crazy.. Further proved my point of how immature society is. #CarpeDiem. Catch me in traffic..."
He then removed his Twitter account. At one point Rihanna - who tweeted an image of Chris topless in bed yesterday - even allegedly got involved in the dispute by uploading an image of the conversation to her Instagram page along with the caption "who has the time," but quickly deleted the post. It will be recalled that two fell out in 2009, after Brown hit, choked and bit Rihanna during an argument in Los Angeles. He later pleaded guilty to assault, and has since then worked hard to repair his image, undergoing violence counseling and putting out a new album. However he still suffers great condemnation  from unforgiving fans and pundits. It is reported that two shows; One in Sweden, the other Brazil were recently cancelled as a result of the his 2009 undoing. Apparently it wasn't only TontoDike the Nigerian Actress that was bitten by the respond-to- insult-bug on twitter.

Owning a private jet is a necessity, not a luxury” – Pastor Oritsejafor

Since November 10 when a private jet was presented to Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor, the national president of Christian Association of Nigeria by his church, Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, a lot of controversies have trailed the birthday gift of an airplane with many of the opinion that men of God are not doing well enough as they live in affluence and luxury while their congregation remain poor. Message of salvation has been left in the backburner by some pastors while all they preach is prosperity. Yes, they prosper, but same cannot be said of their members. A lot of Nigerians even asked questions on why the church shouldn’t start paying taxes since it had become an avenue of enriching some pockets. No one can crucify the other for their opinion on this subject as most people have salient points to back their claims and belief. In this interview with Vanguard, CAN president Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor tells the story of how his Canadian-made Bombardier jet was acquired. “I’m not ashamed to own a plane, I think it is a necessity and not a luxury for some of us deeply involved in the work of God to own planes. See the full interview below There is a huge gap between spirituality and actual faith in God. There is the belief that the love of money has taken over Christendom, rather than  the preaching of  undiluted gospel of salvation. Why do you think there is a shift towards prosperity? First of all, as somebody who has preached the gospel for 40 years, I know that the gospel is a total package—it is for the spirit, mind and body. What has happened through the years is that in every dispensation, there is emphasis that becomes stronger than the others and such emphasis does not reduce the format but add to the format. For example, Martin Luther was the one who searched the scripture to see how the Word of God could change the human being. But as time went on, we started seeing the Baptists. The reason why we call them Baptists is because the founder laid a lot of emphasis on water baptism; that is why today they are being called Baptists, not because they don’t believe that you need to accept Christ and be saved and go to heaven. What happened was that the founder had a revelation and a very deep understanding and conviction in the area of water baptism and he emphasized that. Again, today, when you give your life to Christ, there is a big emphasis on salvation; that is accepting Christ and walking in the knowledge of Christ. Now, the revelation is progressing; as that went on, there are people who through inspiration and the study of the Word  have more understanding in the area of prosperity and so started emphasizing on prosperity. The problem is that there are those who preach and their whole understanding is in the area of prosperity. I think that is not good. I believe there should be a balance. I don’t believe you should not preach prosperity, but I don’t think you should preach prosperity and neglect the preaching of salvation, because we are still going to heaven at the end of everything. This world cannot be a permanent place. If you live very long, according to scripture, probably you will live for 120 years but, at the end of the day, you will still die and go, so where are you going? So it is important to emphasize on salvation, knowing Christ and going to heaven. Now, what will eventually happen is that, with time, these things will level out and those who place   emphasis on prosperity will realize that prosperity cannot be the main thing. The main thing must still be holy living and going to heaven. So this is basically what is going to happen. I will say what I have always said that we must emphasize on the area of living for God. That is why Nigeria has problem today. People who go to church, especially those who, one way or the other, are privileged to be in certain positions, forget the basic thing of God, which is the fear of God and all they want is money, they forget about really serving God. They don’t take God to their work place, they don’t bring God to the positions where God has put them, but I believe that, eventually, these things will level out and the right thing will take its place. For 40 years, you have been in the pulpit preaching the gospel of God, during which there have been miracles, touching lives and all that. But there are certain things that some people don’t know about you and this has to do with your calling. How did you get the divine call? I have shared it so many times but I don’t mind repeating it because it is the main thing about my life. My mother prayed to have a male child. She told God that if He gave her a male child, she would give him back to Him. That was my mother’s prayer at the First Baptist Church in Lagos. That was how she conceived and I was born. I didn’t know this prayer and my mother forgot about the prayer just like any average human being will do.  So I grew up and went my own way and lived my own life and got into a lot of vices, a lot of things that were not right. I have told people that if there is any bad thing that anybody could do in this world, I did it. Can you elaborate on this? (Laughs) Well, at my age and at my level in life, these are things that we are not proud of and will not want to give these things  prominence, but I was into so many wrong things. I leave the rest to your imagination. Yes, this was the life I lived. However, I remember one day, I was walking along Marina in Lagos, very sad, I couldn’t explain why. You know, when you live on the wrong side of life for a while, that  is how you feel. But even the worst human beings you see today on the street, no matter how bad they look, they still have soft spots. That  night, around 9.00 p.m., I was walking along Marina then, Marina was Marina and not the one you have today. There have been a lot of changes. Tears started rolling down my cheeks and I started praying, well, should I really call it a prayer? It wasn’t a prayer as such. I said, ‘God, if you are God, do something and change me, I cannot continue with this kind of life’. Three months later, I came home, to Sapele, because my mother was here and one night somebody gave me a handbill inviting me to a crusade. I just didn’t think I was one of those that should be invited to a crusade because I wasn’t that kind. But I went to the crusade and I heard the Word of God preached by the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa and that turned around my life. For the first time, something touched me. That was when I gave my life to Christ, and my life changed 360 degrees. It is difficult to comprehend this because the, very next day, I bought a Bible and began to preach. It was like I lost my mind, but I think what must have happened was; remember my mother’s prayer many years back. You may forget, but God doesn’t forget. I think God just took what belonged to Him, because, the very next day, I started to preach. I went to a market place, people gathered and I started preaching. People gathered because they knew the person I was; certainly, they had gathered to see a mad man but it turned out that I was preaching the Word of God. The very next day, people came out and gave their lives to Christ, and the rest is history. The issue of succession in Pentecostal churches has gotten to a worrisome dimension. Founders and their followers engage in crises on who takes over when the leaders are out. The development sometimes leads to physical fights and often breakaways as those who feel they contributed to the growth of the churches insist the next persons in leadership must either be the wives, children, brother or direct relatives of the founders. What do you have to say about this? I think there must never be a stereotype. I don’t believe that the fact that the woman is married to a man therefore she has to take over. A man can be a pastor and the wife may not have the call. We must come to a place where we must believe and accept the fact that if you push a woman into something that God did not call her, that ministry will collapse. It will die on its own. But the other side of the coin is that it could be that the woman is also called. So if the woman is called, what do you do? Do you say that because she is the founder’s wife, she should not take her place? You can’t say that, that is why I say that there must never be a stereotype. It depends on the call, it depends  on God’s hands upon who ever. So, it could be the wife, it could be the son, it could be a brother in the church, it could be one of the pastors, it could be a total stranger. Sometimes, when we read the Bible, we don’t want to admit what we read in the Bible because we  already have a mindset. When you read the Bible, you will discover some interesting things. For example, when Jesus was here on earth, you would always conclude that the leader of the disciples was Peter, because of certain statements, certain things, but if you study very closely, you will find out that Jesus never appointed anybody. He never appointed anybody to take over from him. So, that is a big point right there. Now, it is interesting that when you go to the book of Acts and study it very closely, you will find out that the only time we see an authentic leader of the church, you discover that the man that became the leader was Jesus’ half brother. That is a bit strange. You will find out that even Peter submitted himself to James. I am not talking of the James that was one of the disciples. I am talking about  James that was one of Jesus’ brothers; the same mother with Jesus. We know that Mary had other children, after Jesus. One of those children was James and when Jesus was physically alive, none of them believed in him. They stayed away from him but, after he died, they accepted the gospel that he preached and,  interestingly, one of them, James, became the head of the Church. The Bible tells us that at a point, when there was a problem in the Church and there were two factions—one group was the Peter group and the other group was the Paul group. Now, there was a contention and it was over whether Christians should accept Christ who was not  a  Jew. Should they circumcise themselves and all that? One group said no and the other said yes. It became a very big problem and it was James who stood up and said: “This is my decision. You must go to the Gentiles and tell them they don’t have to do this and that. This is what they must do”. You see, that tells you vividly who the leader was. So my point is this, that Peter accepted the leadership of James; obviously, Peter was already a disciple before  James accepted Christ. But he was humble enough to accept him as his leader. James did not make himself a leader; obviously, they all agreed that he should be the leader. That shows you the level of spirituality. If it is today, how would you interpret it? You will definitely say that the brother of the founder of the Church is now the leader of the Church. There appears to be part-time and full-time pastors in the Church today, a development that has necessitated people to give conflicting reactions. Is it right to have part-time pastors in the service of God? Look, I may say some things that are a bit different from what you have known or what you may have heard. I say things because I am convinced and you will have to find a way to digest it. Every Christian is in full-time ministry. Any other job you are doing is the one that is part-time. If there was enough money, there would have been no need for one to work because our full-time job is to be Christians and win others to Christ. But a church must function and there are many things that must happen—life must go on, people must eat and live; if your wife is pregnant and goes to hospital, you have to pay the bills. That is why 99 per cent of church members have jobs. If you study the Bible very carefully, you may see something that will shock you. Are you aware that Apostle Paul, everywhere he went to, to start a church, got a job? In fact, he went as far as explaining why, so that the gospel would not be abused or looked down upon; so that people will not think that he was preaching this gospel because he wanted the people’s money. He was a lawyer by profession, but wherever he went to and couldn’t get a law job, he found something else to do and he was good at tent making. So he would start a tent making business wherever he started a church, he would go out to make tent, sell the tent and have enough money to feed everybody that was with him, and he would take care of himself and everything. So there is nothing wrong with a man who has a job and he is preaching the gospel. Nigerian pastors are accused of prospering while their congregants continue to suffer in poverty. What is your take on this? Well, let me begin like this, this is a major issue, especially now that I have just been presented with a gift of a jet. That makes it a major issue. Let me say here that every pastor must be conscious of the people he pastors. It is very important. I can tell you that as a pastor for 40 years now, if you talk to people that are genuinely my members, they will tell you the kind of pastor that am I. If you watched me today, I was talking about a young man who has been trying to go to a university for three years now. I didn’t know him from Adam. One day, after a service here, one of my pastors brought him to me. As soon as he saw me, he held my legs and began to cry! He showed me all the papers, pleading that he had tried to gain admission to any university here, it never worked. So he finally got admission to study in Cyprus. I paid his school fees, helped him with ticket and everything he needed, he’s gone. He has since resumed school and is there in Cyprus now. How many people will know that? In the last seven to eight years now, I have paid school fees of over 100 people in different universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. Some of them have graduated and have come here to share their testimonies, excitements and even their parents have come here to thank us. I don’t know them from anywhere. Every December 26, I do a very big thing here. We call it poverty alleviation. This year, December 26, we will equally do it. Last December 26, I gave out about six brand new cars to people; your denomination means nothing. Whether you are a Muslim or a native doctor means nothing here. What qualifies you is if you are a human being. I gave out 25 tricycles, about 100 sewing machines, and grinding machines. Some of these people come here to give testimonies; some are now married and have children. There was this young boy, a Moslem from Auchi. This young man, nothing good was coming out of his life, he was rejected, nobody wanted him and one of our pastors took him into a teaching centre and he was sleeping in the teaching centre. They were helping him. This boy had  driver’s  licence, I don’t know how he got it. He had no job and couldn’t do anything. Last two years, when we were doing the poverty alleviation, he applied.  And they brought out a name which happened to be this boy’s and he won a brand new car. Today, that boy has rented his own house; in fact, his parents who are Muslims came to church on a Sunday and worshipped with me and danced all over the place and, after the service, they came to me and thanked me, saying ‘oh, this boy that you don’t even know from anywhere, you dashed him a car.’ They were very happy. Besides that, many lives have been transformed here. We have changed many lives. We have an orphanage here. As we are talking, an American couple has gotten in touch with me. They want to adopt a child from our orphanage. We have a clinic here that hopefully will develop into a full blown hospital. People go there and pay little something for treatment, but generally on Sundays people are treated free. These are some of the things we do. Most people don’t know this and I don’t think I am the only pastor doing this. So a lot of people who are saying this against pastors are just being mischievous. They may have their reasons, some of them are bitter about something and they are not telling the full story about what is making them bitter. But like I said, a good pastor must be concerned about his people. We have buses that we use in carrying people. If I tell you some of the things that we used to do, it will shock you. There is a woman in my church, when she came to this church, she had probably two blouses and a wrapper, no slippers, not even  bathroom slippers. She had never entered a classroom before. I didn’t even know her. She is from one of these oil bearing communities. There was a time an oil company in their community wanted to do business with them and she was interested but had no money. She came to us for assistance. I don’t think, at that time, she had ever seen N10,000 in her life. So she went to our micro-finance bank, Mama (my wife) runs it without salary, she and all our directors don’t earn one naira. She went to the bank and said she wanted to borrow money. My wife asked her; `how much do you have in your account’, and she said, I don’t even have an account’. My wife looked at her, and she called me about it and I said, `look, leave me out of it’. We didn’t even have that kind of money at that time. She asked the woman again, `how much do you have now and the woman said N2,000′. She now advised her to use that money to open an account and she did. Mama now went round to source for the amount. The short story here is that she got the money, did her business and in less than six months, she paid back the money she collected. As we speak now, she is one of the richest women in Warri. She bought me an incredible car that cost millions of naira some years ago. Coming to the issue of jet, I had no single idea of how it came about. It is true that people like us have gotten to a point where we need to have means of movement that will help us. You may have heard me speak about my trip to Indonesia, to Jakarta. In fact,  it wasn’t even Jakarta I was going to, but I had to stay inside an airport in Jakarta for five hours to wait for my flight, to get to the very city I was going. I was only going to preach for two hours there. I flew from Lagos to Dubai and I spent over three hours, changed flight to fly to Jakarta and then stayed five hours at the airport just to catch a flight to where I was going to, where I was to preach for just two hours. And after everything, I got a flight from that place again to Jakarta, stayed at the airport again for another five hours, then flew into Dubai, stayed again at the airport for another three hours before I flew into Lagos. It took me four days to make a journey to preach for two hours. I’m a human being and I am not getting younger every day. And locally, it is worse, for instance, the acting General Secretary of CAN lost his father in a place outside Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and I had to be there. I preached in a place in Lagos on a Friday and needed to be back to Warri on a Saturday, but at the end of the day, the plane that would have taken me was no where. I had to charter a plane for N3.5 million to take me to Uyo, waited for me to finish and then take me back to Warri. Two weeks ago, a young pastor in Port Harcourt built a new church and had been on me all this while to come and dedicate the church and suddenly from no where, there was this flood that cut off the road to Port Harcourt. There is no road now to Port Harcourt. If you want to go by road now, it takes you up to 12 hours to get to Port Harcourt and I had to preach in Port Harcourt, I had to preach in Lagos, I had to preach in Abuja and other places. Finally, I was able to find my way to Port Harcourt, it was on a Saturday. I had to get to Warri that Saturday so as to be able to preach the next day, Sunday. Do you know what I had to finally do? I chartered a helicopter that cost me N2 million to drop me in Warri. When they dropped me here, ah, I can’t tell you how I felt that I had to part with that sum. But I had promised the young man and the church and if I had said  no, will it be right? I can go on and on and on. So, sometimes, my schedule is so complicated. Now, with this plane, it changes everything about my movements. Now, I can move, I can even go and come back home. It is a bit more convenient for me and I suspect that this is one of the reasons a lot of these other preachers have planes. Does your congregation understand all these engagements? They do. They feel the pain I go through and they feel painful for not seeing me most of the time. They don’t like it, they are troubled.  I know some people buy planes, I can’t buy plane. I can’t afford it. I don’t have that kind of money, I still don’t know the people that bought this plane, but I know that there is a committee. I hope you will get to meet with some of the people in that committee, I don’t  know them. My wife is more involved with them.  She (my wife) never talked to me, (about it) and she was acting strange. Well, I don’t want to get involved in this. This is my story about the plane. And I’m not ashamed to own a plane, I think it is a necessity and not a luxury for some of us deeply involved in the work of God to own planes. Culled from Vanguard

Tulisa On Sex: “I Act Like The Virgin Mary”

Tulisa has revealed she is “like the Virgin Mary” when it comes to having sex. The X Factor judge, who was at the centre of a sex tape drama earlier this year, also told Fabulous magazine that sometimes, she feels God is testing her. The 24-year old explained: “You might think I’m a coconut for saying it but I honestly believe the universe has set my life out like this because it wants me to be tested. “God knows what else it will throw at me, but I think I’ll be fighting until the day I retire.” Speaking of her sex life, the Sight Of You singer – who is currently dating Newcastle United star Danny Simpson – claimed that she was more sexually active in her youth. The N-Dubz stunner confessed: “80% of the guys I’ve been with were when I was between 14 and 17… Now I’m 24 I act like the Virgin Mary. “Sex to me now is a massive thing. I’m not going to get into it unless I’m going to have a relationship with that person.” Tulisa recently hit back at ‘haters’ who had criticised her romance with Simpson, stating on Twitter she is “very happy” with her man.

Women in northern Ghana accused of being witches have formed a new village after being banished by their communities. A report compiled by international aid charity ActionAid spoke of both elderly and young women Ghanaian who must live in the ‘witch camps’ until they die. The report, titled ‘Condemned without trial: women and witchcraft in Ghana’, describes six ‘witch’ camps’ in Northern Ghana, Gambaga, Kukuo, Gnani, Bonyase, Nabuli and Kpatinga. “Some camps came in to existence as long as 100 years ago and mostly consist of mud huts. Women in the camps have to walk many miles to collect water, food is in short supply health and education services are very limited,” said a Daily Mail story based on the ActionAid report. ActionAid sees the camps as being “effectively women’s prisons where the inmates have been given no trial, have no right of appeal, but have received a life sentence.” Among the cases cited in the report is that of Sano Kojo, 66, who has lived in one of the camps for more than 30 years after she was accused of killing her cousin. She said: “People don’t care about the alleged witches. Once you are here you are forgotten.”   How they identify the alleged witches Many of the women, who number into the hundreds, were been accused of being witches by relatives or neighbours. Once an accusation is made they are banished from their villages and sometimes chased out by a violent mob. Often young female relatives are sent with them to live in the camp as an ‘attendant’ and also live in the same appalling conditions, facing terrible discrimination. In some cases, the fate of the women is determined not by the elders of their village, but by the dying contortions of a slaughtered chicken. If the chicken falls with its head down and its feet in the air, the woman is declared a witch. If it falls feet down, her innocence is declared. However, regardless of the outcome, once an accusation has been made a woman will be sent to the camp whether she’s ‘guilty’ or not, just in case some villagers do not believe her innocence.   Ordeal of the alleged witches Adwoa Kwateng-Kluvitse, ActionAid Ghana Country Director, said: “Women accused of being witches find their lives have been snatched away from them. The violence and brutality many face is shocking. These women are at the mercy of their accusers who destroy their lives and condemn them to a life of imprisonment.” Almost every woman accused of being a witch is poor and powerless, according to ActionAid. A survey of the camps found more than 70 per cent of women were accused of being witches after their husbands died. The survey also found one in three women in the camp was not earning money before they were accused of being a witch and were seen as an economic burden by their community. However, the camps do provide sanctuary for women accused of being witches, as many in their communities believe the women cannot practice witchcraft once they are in a camp. ActionAid has called on the government of Ghana to ensure the basic human rights of women in the camps are upheld with access to health and education services. It also appealed to the international community and UK government to do all they can to address issues relating to the ‘witch’ camps’ and engage with the Ghanaian government to ensure women’s human rights are protected Who will want to visit such village?

Nigerian actor Joseph Benjamin who on Tuesday opens up on his marriage crisis in this recent interview with Adeola Adeyemi revealed how he married his wife out of pity because she got pregnant while they were dating. Joseph Benjamin who is formally separated from his wife of 8 years said he married her when he discovered she got pregnant because he doesn’t want to father children out of wedlock. From the interview, the actor apparently didn’t love his wife. He allegedly married her out of pity. Interview excerpt below. What Really Happened in his Marriage? “I was married for 8 years. It was a rather odd situation at that time. She got pregnant and I didn’t want to have a child out of wedlock and so I married her so we could build a home together for the unborn child. Things weren’t rosy then, but I believed it was the right thing to do for the sake of the child. I overlooked my own personal desires, I just wanted to do right. Our second child came and I stood by my family like I always have; but no one is perfect, we had our issues – the crisis persisted but we stayed because of the kids. But you never make that kind of decision because if the parents are not happy together then the children suffer.” Is Your Wife Older Than You? She is not older than me, and she wasn’t taking care of my financial needs as people have insinuated. We were both starting off in life on the same grounds – no one was exploited.” “I’ve been separated for a year now but we still keep a good relationship, and our separation was a mutual agreement. She is a good woman but I could not go on with the union anymore seeing the foundation it was built on was untrue. I have two wonderful children – a ten year old daughter and a seven year old son. They are an integral part of my life; their mum and I have a very good arrangement on how to balance their lives and make sure that psychologically they are stable and unaffected by our separation.” Imagine.. How can you marry a woman out of pity?

Oyo State Gov’s Daughter In Mu*der Scandal!…In Alleged Complication In Ex Lover’s Death

According what National Enquirer Magazine reported, the daughter of the executive governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Abiola Ajimobi, Bisola is at present enmeshed in an alleged murder controversy involving her ex-lover, Adeola Randoph who died early this year. And from family sources, it has taken this long to discover Bisola`s alleged involvement in the sudden death of this youngman because the Ajimobis were said to have allegedly been pressing buttons to sweep the case under the carpet. This office gathered reliably that, Bisola now a married woman was said to have sneaked into the flat of her ex-lover without the consent of her husband the previous night to his death, although, the deceased was asthmatic, sources including the gateman at the Magodo home of the amiable young man disclosed that, Bisola sneaked in the evening and left in the wee hours of the fateful day, only to discover that, the man, Adeola gave up the ghost the second morning after the strange visit. What a coincidental and unfortunate visit you would say. Unconfirmed report has it that the daughter of the Oyo state Governor Gov Ajimobi, Bisola though now married to the son of respected Nigerian businessman, Chief Kola Daisi, Kolapo has some explanation to make concerning the death of Adeola Randolph her ex lover who died in a mysterious way on the wee hours of 7th of Febuary 2012. Though there are rumours that the deceased, a staff of a company based in Abuja called-PetroEnergy and graduated from the Coventry University in the UK had an attack at home in the early hours of the fateful day and was rushed to the hospital where he later gave up the ghost, some have said Governor Ajimobi’s daughter and Personal Assistant might have some explanations to make. The pretty mother of one according to family sources was said to be the last person with the deceased as she allegedly sneaked into the country from the UK to Adeola’s Magodo home on the 6th of Febuary 2012 a night before the deceased passed on though didn’t spend the night there. Adeola and Bisola we authoritatively scooped were lovers known to families and friends until the relationship crashed due to accusations of infidelity on both parties especially Bisola and other issues before she later got married to Chief Kola Daisi`s son in an elaborate wedding on the 5th of November 2010 in Ibadan. The late Adeola, a popular student of the Atlantic Hall, Ikoyi who just acquired a Range Rover SUV and Bisola were said to still be in love as they secretly rekindled their affair from ordinary to seeing each other secretly. This we gathered explained the reason Adeola invited Bisola over though they both agreed to be extra careful and thus her reason for leaving his place that night, those who were aware of the his health conditions vowed that, Adeola was hale and hearty on that night and also had enough inhalers to attend to himself. What is causing the eyebrow is the reason behind the strange visit of the Governor’s daughter who`s a married woman the night before, they`ve ceased to stop talking about it. In our facts finding mission, we got in touch with one of the aides of the State`s First lady for their own side of the story, the lady however promised to get back to us having pleaded to temper justice with mercy on the story. Whilst we were still expecting her response, she however tried to network by finding a way of getting in touch with our editor who has been out of the country through another powerful source, just in order to stem the story, she did present the matter as if we have been on her neck but our editor sent back the middle man for them to react officially to the story but we never heard from them till we went to press. We have set up a meeting with the deceased family and we shall let you know as events unfold Culled from National Enquirer Magazine

Nigerian man has given his wife and son the go-ahead to have sex with each other, under the claim that he has no time to satisfy his wife’s sexual needs. Mr. Audu Ibrahim, a resident of Bakassi area of Suleja, Niger state, claims to be too busy to have time to satisfy the emotional needs of his wife, Sophia. He, therefore sees nothing wrong in his son Umar playing that role in the life of Sophia, who is his stepmother. “I don’t want my beloved son to suffer emotionally. Since my wife is his happiness, I’m very pleased with it.” He said. “You can see how busy I am with my job. I do not want an outsider to have an affair with my wife,” Ibrahim added. Explaining how the incestuous relationship started and justifying it, Umar said: “My father lost interest in sex, due to very tight business schedule, some years ago. For many years, she (his stepmother) has been without sex or with little sex. My dad would go out for business in the morning and the next time he would show up, would be many days after. When he eventually came home, he was very tired. It seemed to me that the spark had gone out of my parents’ marriage. Don’t get me wrong, my dad was a loving father and husband also. But the romance that was present at the early state of his marriage was gone. So I began to pay my stepmom compliments on her looks, which made her blush. As days passed by, my desire increased to have her in bed.” Umar’s stepmom, Sophia, a native of SierraLeone, justified the abomination because of her husband’s “laxity” to her “toward sex.” She said, “He was content with his business, transcendental meditation and yoga. He seldom revealed his horny side and when he did, it was more out of his own personal compulsions. He had always remained predictable on the bed. He looked so methodical while having sex. He wasn’t getting anywhere closer to what I normally expected from him. I kept telling lies to him that I had enjoyed his intimacy, as was expected from a typical housewife. At 39, it was humiliating to resort to young guys and now I believe my handsome stepson would fulfill my desires. But some incidents occurred between me and my own stepson that changed all that. My desire and lust to make sexual relation with my son increased and so I started working to make it true.”

With of the fear of leukemia, doctors went in and performed a bone-marrow biopsy so that they could study his cells. To their surprise, the biopsy unveiled that the teen was suffering from a chromosomal disorder that causes him to grow at an accelerated speeds. Pregnant Woman Remanded In Prison For Biting Off Neighbours Breast

A 24-year-old pregnant woman, Funke Jamiu on Thursday was remanded in Kirikiri prisons by an Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court, Lagos for biting off a chunk of her co-tenant’s breast during a squabble. According to the police prosecutor, Cpl. Oluwafemi Adeleye, the accused on November 4 bite off one Bola Ajiboye’s breast during a fight. Adeleye told the court that Jamiu, a housewife, reportedly committed the offence at No. 17, Awolo St., Isheri-Osun, Ijagemo, Lagos. He said, “The defendant, who confessed to have committed the act, did not only inflict her co-tenant with bruises but also used her fingers and her teeth to cut off part of Ajiboye’s breast.” The offence, according to him, contravened section 24 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State, 2011. The prosecutor said that fight broke out between the duo when the accused claimed that there was an unfavorable rumour being spread about her by the victim. ”The other neighbours in the compound, however, involved the police, when the situation became uncontrollable,’’ the prosecutor said. JTF Declares BokoHaram Top Shots Wanted;Offers N50 Million On Leader Abubakar Shekau

The Joint Task Force Operation (JTF) in Maiduguri has placed a bounty of N50 million on the head of Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram, one of 19 leaders and commanders of the militant group it declared wanted today. In a statement, JTF said, “They are wanted in connection with terrorist activities particularly in the North East Zone of Nigeria that led to the killings, bombings and assassination of some civilians, religious leaders, traditional rulers, businessmen, politicians, civil servants and security personnel amongst others.” It also said the men were wanted for arson and destruction of properties worth of millions of Naira. Four of the men, described as “Shurra Committee,” have a reward of N25 million each for information leading to their arrest.  They are: Habibu Yusuf (aka Asalafi); Khalid Albarnawai; Momodu Bama; and Mohammed Zangina. The 14 other men, described as “Boko Haram Commanders,” have a bounty of N10m each placed on their heads. There has lately been a deep division in the government of President Goodluck Jonathan about Boko Haram.  While his spokesman, Reuben Abati, had said consistently that the government was using “back room channels” to negotiate with the militants, President Jonathan himself said in his Media Chat last week that no negotiations of any sort are going on. Today’s press statement by the JTF indicates a new government hard line, perhaps stemming from efforts to generate negotiations which may see renewed militant attacks on soft targets in the country.  Recently, the group asked the leader of the Congress for Political Change, General Muhammadu Buhari, to mediate talks with the government, but Buhari turned down the offer.  Full Text of the statement: NAMES                                                                                  REWARD SHURRA COMMITTEE 1.         Abubakar Shekau                                                        N50 Million 2.         Habibu Yusuf (a.k.a Asalafi)                                      N25 Million 3.         Khalid Albarnawai                                                      N25 Million 4.         Momodu Bama                                                           N25 Million 5.         Mohammed Zangina                                                   N25 Million BOKO HARAM COMMANDERS                               6.         Abu Saad                                                                     N10 Million 7.         Abba Kaka                                                                  N10 Million 8.         Abdulmalik Bama                                                       N10 Million 9.         Umar Fulata                                                                N10 Million 10.       Alhaji Mustapha (Massa) Ibrahim                             N10 Million 11.       Abubakar Suleiman-Habu (a.k.a Khalid)                    N10 Million 12.       Hassan Jazair                                                              N10 Million 13.       Ali Jalingo                                                                   N10 Million 14.       Alhaji Musa Modu                                                     N10 Million 15.       Bashir Aketa                                                               N10 Million 16.       Abba Goroma                                                             N10 Million 17.       Ibrahim Bashir                                                            N10 Million 18.       Abubakar Zakariya                                                     N10 Million 19.       Tukur Ahmed Mohammed                                         N10 Million Anybody with relevant information should contact the following GSM numbers: 08064174066, 070855464012, and 08154429345.  Informants’ identities will be highly protected.       What are your thoughts on this new development?           -Sahara Reporters

A few days ago, Tonto Dike tweeted at comedian AY and let it be known in not so friendly words that she is upset with him. Well more like F**king upset. Why? Well we think it has something to do with AY’s daughter doing a rendition of Tonto’s single Get High. He posted a video a few days ago of his daughter performing the song in their home, and it been hitting the internet circuits pretty hard. Not sure what Tonto is really upset about, but here is the video. We don’t see anything wrong with it. If anything, it’s should be a compliment.CLICK TO WATCH VIDEO

Magistrate Court sitting in Kirikiri, Lagos State yesterday sentenced an alleged serial rapist, Princewill Nwogu, to 16 years imprisonment for molesting a hairdresser at a hotel in Festac in March. While sentencing the 32-year-old driver, Senior Magistrate F. J. Adefioye, said his action was a premeditated act, adding that Nwogu was not fit to live among human beings and even animals. He was found guilty on counts one and two, discharged on three but found guilty on count four. Adefioye said the prosecution called two witnesses and tendered 18 exhibits, including a video of the defendant having unlawful sex and five unclad pictures. He recalled the statement of one of the victims (name withheld), how Nwogu offered her a drink already drugged and later found herself in a hotel in FESTAC (name withheld) wearing the defendant’s trousers. Adefioye said the defendant, who under crossing examination, disclosed that the two girls, Blessing and Funmilayo (surnames withheld) were his girlfriends, admitted ownership of the digital camera and invited three other friends as witnesses. The defence counsel, Chief M. D. Ndupu during the proceedings urged the court to discharge his client because one of the victims did not appear in court. On the four issues for determination by the court, Magistrate Adefioye after consulting several authorities said he had jurisdiction to hear the case, rejected the defendant’s counsel’s argument that wrong section of the law was being applied, the Investigating Police Office (IPO) investigated and tendered exhibits, saying it was not necessary for Funmilayo to appear in court. Faulting the claim of Nwogu that Blessing consented to having sex, the magistrate observed that since the victim was drugged and was unconscious, she could not have given her consent for the unlawful sex and ruled that the prosecution had proved the case and found him guilty of having canal knowledge of Blessing. The defence counsel said Nwogu was a first offender and had not been convicted by any court, urging the magistrate to temper justice with mercy by giving an option of fine. Magistrate Adefioye, sentenced Nwogu on count 1 and 2 to one year, discharging him on count 3 and 14 years without option of fine on count 4. After the judgement, Nwogu was handcuffed by the court orderly, CPL O. Michael and first taken to Kirikiri Medium Prison from where he was later transported to Kirikiri Maximum Prison on commercial motorcycle (Okada). Speaking to Daily Sun, Blessing, one of the victims said she was happy to see Nwogu sentenced to prison and thanked God that she didn’t die when she was drugged and molested even as she recalled how the defendant offered her drink. The counsel watching brief for Blessing, Arit Johnson told Daily Sun that after the second adjournment and the defendant was granted bail, she took over the case, adding “I saw the video of the molest, it was horrible and he even took pictures of the unlawful sex.

Female anti-gay activist charged for kidnapping, drugging, and making sex tape with teenage girl

A female conservative lawyer who works for the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), an anti-gay consortium of attorneys which legally challenges gay rights in court,  is accused of kidnapping a teenage girl and taking her to Canada for sex. The Concord Monitor reports: A Manchester lawyer took a teenage girl to Canada, had her engage in sexual activity and convinced her to let it be filmed, according to federal indictments. FBI agents swiftly arrested Lisa Biron yesterday morning as she awaited a hearing on child pornography charges at Manchester’s district court. About 9 a.m. FBI agents entered the courtroom, told Biron to leave her belongings and took her into an adjoining conference room where she remained for several minutes before coming out in handcuffs. The accused kidnapper, Lisa Biron, is facing federal charges which include transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, possession of child pornography and five counts of sexual exploitation of children. Witnesses also report seeing Biron in possession of cocaine, marijuana, and ecstasy. Biron also sent threatening text messages to the person who turned her in to the police, telling him he would have to watch his back forever if he turned her in. Biron sent messages to friends indicating that she might be fleeing to that socialist haven Cuba, of all places, because she had “nothing left”. Irony: On her Facebook page, Biron lists the Bible as her favorite book. - Kulture Kritic
