Chris Brown Got A $1 Million Cheque For Lagos Concert

Word out is that popular singer Chris Brown was paid at least $1m (about N158m) for his performance in Lagos with a 15 man crew last week(22nd December). Sources in the know reveal  that Oando boss Wale Tinubu was a major financier, as well as telecoms giant Etisalat. It is also said that the fees ‘could have been more’ if he had performed with a live band or had to do multiple venues. Although he performed with a DJ and backing track, two back-up singers and four dancers, the controversial American gave a two hour sterling performance, leaving fans wanting more. It was Chris Brown’s second time in Nigeria, the first being for a THISDAY Music Festival performance a few years ago. When will a Nigerian act get a $1 million fee or more for performing abroad?
